Compassionate Somatics Program
A 3-month 1:1 program for somatic self-inquiry
The Compassionate Somatics Program takes a body-based approach to psychotherapy and counselling. In this approach, you bring mind-body awareness to the unconscious dynamics that are playing out in your life and learn how to free yourself from them, as well as develop clarity, insight and choice in your actions.
What is the Compassionate Somatics Program?
Compassionate Somatics is a trauma-informed and somatic psychotherapeutic program that supports you to recognise what lies below the surface of your conscious awareness and within your unconscious mind.
I developed this three-month program through my years of training and personal experience with various somatic-based therapeutic modalities. This program has also been inspired by my training and experience as a certified practitioner of the Compassionate Inquiry® psychotherapeutic approach developed by Dr Gabor Maté.
In the Compassionate Somatics Program, we combine elements of talk therapy with body-based awareness to reveal the hidden programming, mental loops, self-limiting beliefs and body states that underpin the appearance that you show to the world. This approach supports you to nurture a connection to the truth within yourself in the present moment and to liberate yourself from self-limiting patterns.
Neuroscientists suggest that the unconscious mind is responsible for 95% of our brain activity every day. This means that we are conscious of only about 5% of our brain activity, and the vast majority of our decisions, emotions, actions and behaviour is determined by unconscious programming. Through the Compassionate Somatics program, you can learn to recognise the unconscious dynamics in your life and integrate more healthy patterns of responding.

“Compassion can be described as letting ourselves be touched by the vulnerability and suffering that is within ourselves and all beings. The full flowering of compassion also includes action. Not only do we attune to the presence of suffering, we respond to it.”
